These are the touring bikes we used from 1995 to 2004.

frame: steel frame from Schauff, mountain bike geometry front suspension: RST Gila TL suspension forks seat post: Airwings Evolution suspended seat post gearing system: Rohloff Speedhub chain: Rohloff SLT99 rims: front Alesa, rear Rigida DP2000 tires: Schwalbe Marathon XR or Schwalbe Black Jack brakes: currently still V-brakes front rack: used to be self-made from stainless-steel, but since we have suspension forks we use Faiv Hoogar rear rack: Tubus Cargo panniers: Ortlieb front roller and back roller, side pockets, Ultima 3 handle bar bag, saddle bag; rack-pack XL for the trailer bottle cages: two bottle cages for water bottles, one bottle cage for PET bottles holding the fuel bottle
